about

11 O'Connor4 (5:14)

The Heathery Breeze, Scotch Mary, The Cedars of Lebanon, The Rat in the Thatch & The Five Crossroads.

This is a selection of reels I enjoy teaching at workshops and camps throughout the worldwide community of traditional music. The Cedars of Lebanon was composed by fiddle player Sean Ryan from Tipperary. James Byrne's name is associated with the fourth reel. John Henry from Doocastle, on the Sligo/Mayo border called the last tune Five Mile Cross. Each of the O'Connors: Dónal, Gerry and Máirtín join me for a tune on this final set.
