about

4 Bádaí na Scadain (4:57)

Eithne Ní Uallacháin learned this song from her father Pádraig. He first heard it sung by Máire John Mhic Ghairbheith in Rannafast, Co. Donegal. It tells the heart-breaking story of a father searching for his three sons who were lost when their herring boat capsized near Inishfree Island.
